This very prestigious Law Firm is looking for a Insurance Data Manager to head up their busy Management Information & Data team.

The Insurance Data Manager will lead a team who are the keepers of data within the Insurance practice and will take overall responsibility for insurance data, processes, design, collection and production of MI to our clients. You will be responsible for the Checking of data, cross checking data with established health reports, and core matter reports. This new role will work closely with partners across the Insurance Group to enhance the data collection process, ensuring that data capture requirements are understood and delivered by all.

Hybrid Working : 2 Days in the office / 3 working from home!!!!

You must have :

 Experience of working for a reputable insurance business in a data governance or data reporting role.

 In depth knowledge of data requirements for the insurance market would be desirable.

 High level of understanding of insurance terminology.

 The ability to identify, validate and organise relevant data

 Excellent people management skills and qualities.

 Previous stakeholder management experience.

 Advanced excel skills , MOS accredited in Outlook and Excel and a broad knowledge of Microsoft systems i.e. SQL, SSIS or other data visualisation tools would be desirable.

Some duties include:

 Ensuring that data capture requirements are fully up to date, defined, understood and embedded in operational processes across the business to ensure timely, accurate and complete data.

 Monthly reporting to the Head of the Insurance Group to discuss the data quality and integrity of the group.

 Develop a new performance management dashboard to track the frequency of MI updates, data quality and consistency.

 Knowledge sharing across the MI team to ensure great client service is provided.

 Ensure that all relevant stakeholders across the business deliver the highest quality of feedback to clients. You will do this by training, one-on-one feedback with the partners on the performance of their teams.

 Support the redesign and documentation of new processes to improve our data quality and reporting production process.

 Ensure data capture requirements are fully up to date, defined, understood and embedded in operational processes across the business.
