​HR / Recruitment Assistant - US Law Firm

A brand new role has arisen working for an ultra-friendly US Law Practice in Central London. This role is a healthy mixture of HR Administration and Recruitment, and will be working with a brilliant team with a real family feel!

The successful candidate will be joining of the most reputable US Law firms in Central London, known for the comprehensive levels of support on offer to all employee's of the firm. This promises excellent exposure to multiple areas, excellent training, and an environment designed to promote both personal and professional progression.

HR / Recruitment Assistant - US Law Firm

This role is both permanent and full-time, working hours of 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday. The duties for this role include but are not limited to:

- Processing holiday requests and sickness/absence records.
- Assisting with recruitment of Staff positions, interacting with Recruiters,
coordinating the collection of CV’s and arranging interviews schedules.
- Assisting with the administration in relation to the on-boarding and offboarding of staff. Including creating and maintaining personnel files, gathering data and reporting to Human Resources department.
- Arranging IT training, Health & Safety training and preparing work areas.
- Preparation of Benefit information emails for Associates and Staff, and benefit set ups.
- Assisting with the administration process in relation to leavers.
- Collating, checking and arranging for approval of contract paralegal weekly timesheets.
- Checking supplier invoices and uploading to Chrome River software for payment.
- Ensuring internal telephone, key and emergency contact lists are up to date.
- Being present and taking minutes during meetings as and when required.
- Assisting with the arrangement of internal training sessions.
- Preparing, logging and monitoring Recruiter fee agreements.
- Opening and dealing with unaddressed correspondence.
- Prepare monthly credit card information and receipts
- Preparing contract extension letters, reference requests and other ad-hoc

In order to be considered for this unique opportunity, applicants must possess the following skills/experience:

- At least 6 months experience gained working with a professional office environment
- A genuine interest in HR/Recruitment
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work on own initiative and to think clearly and logically.
- Ability to undertake multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly.
- Excellent customer service levels and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills; ability to communicate with people at all levels.
