Another fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary/PA at one of the most sought after US Law firms in the City.

Salary - £56,000+

Location - Liverpool Street

Hybrid - 4:1

Benefits - Incentivised benefits package, annual performance bonus, free meals, state of the art offices

Working in a bustling environment, you will work across the Restructuring department, supporting a mixture of Fee Earners from Partner to Trainee. That said, the benefits of working for a firm like this are a high degree of involvement for the individual with a full 360-degree role that'll keep all of your skills up to date. Add into the mix a much-heralded department with a fantastic team ethic and you'll thrive.

Within this practice group, the Legal Secretary/PA will have a broad range of duties and responsibilities, which include:

  • Diary management, arranging meeting and scheduling conference calls
  • Organising travel and preparing itineraries
  • Creating, proof reading and amending documents
  • Organising, scanning and maintaining emails and documents with the document management system (Lawman)
  • Preparation and coordination of monthly client bills
  • File opening and due diligence, liaising with clients to schedule a time for them to come in with required ID documents
  • Arranging/managing business development events (internally and externally) by: obtaining internal approval of budget requests, sourcing catering/drinks suppliers, creating invites, managing list of invitees and responses, paying suppliers, assisting and overseeing events

Previous experience within a law firm is a must, ideally from a US one but they're not set on this. As for Legal knowledge, a solid background in Restructuring would be great but they will consider any form of Corporate or Litigation experience too.
