Legal Secretary/PA needed for a fantastic firm!

Salary: up to £48,000

Hybrid: 3:2

Location: City of London

Benefits: Excellent list including private medical insurance, free GP visit, contribution towards gym membership, subsidised staff restaurant and music lessons!

This firm remains a pace setter in the market and are looking to add a new Legal Secretary/PA for their Banking team.

It's a lively, sociable department which will have you feeling part of the team by the end of your first week. As for the allocation, a Partner and a small amount of fee earners will keep you busy but not tearing your hair out!

Previous experience in Banking would be ideal but owing to their structure, can consider other areas of law including Corporate, Finance, Disputes or Litigation. As long as you have experience supporting your own allocation, you will pick the rest up quickly.

Please see below for some of the duties involved:

  • Proactively manage and maintain fee-earners' diaries
  • Arrange the booking of conference rooms, video conference facilities, taxis refreshments and restaurants
  • Organising travel arrangements through the firm's travel company, booking and confirmation of reservations, flights, hotels, car transfers, ordering currency and expense claims and producing detailed itineraries
  • Monitoring and responding to post and/or emails
  • Drafting letters and correspondence as required
  • Effectively manage new client matter opening
  • Document management
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the end-to-end billing process
  • Preparation of agendas, presentations and meeting papers
