Practice Group Secretarial Manager - Global law firm!
Duration: 12 month fixed term contract (strong likelihood of turning permanent)
Salary: up to £75,000
Location: City of London
Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 from home

Are you an experienced manager who thrives on leading and inspiring teams? One of the most successful law firms on the planet is looking for a Practice Group Secretarial Manager to oversee their secretarial support teams across Banking and Disputes. Based in London, with occasional travel to their regional offices, you'll be at the heart of their operations, driving efficiency, building team culture and delivering real impact.
What you'll do:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Practice Support Workflow Coordinators and Executives
- Optimise task management using BigHand workflow system
- Drive process improvements and change initiatives across the function
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and business services teams
- Create a positive, collaborative team environment that inspires high performance
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience managing secretarial/administrative teams (professional services ideal)
- Strong leadership and people development skills
- Confidence in using workflow systems
- Excellent communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable driving change
